Friends of Mr. Gbenga took to Facebook to pour their emotions following his painful de**th. He was described as a hardworking perfect gentleman.

Comfortable in the US but strongly believed in investing in Nigeria, as part of his giving back in providing employment.

He had a farm in Ogbomoso, and he opened an Hotel in the same town just last December. He was in Ogbomoso till March 2022. He returned to the US and prepared his final relocation to Nigeria in July after many decades of successful living in the USA.

He returned to Nigeria a few weeks ago and was kidnapped a few days later. A ransom of 5 million Naira was paid. Yet the kidnappers k*lled him with two others.
